An Amazing Journey to Tirupati and its Temples

Tirupati is the famous temple city in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. I have always longed to visit the temple of Tirumala for a long time. This time I planned the trip entirely myself and went to Tirupati to pay the homage at the temple. There are many ways to reach the temple town of Tirupati from Katpadi Junction. I chose to travel by train as it is very convenient and easy way of travelling.

There are a number of trains available in the sector. I wanted to travel in the AC 3rd tier of the railways and hence I booked the tickets in the Sabari Express that starts from the Trivandrum Central Railway Station. The train reaches the Katpadi Junction at 22.45 at night. I used IRCTC to book my tickets in the train and booked them easily online using the net banking option.

Stay at Hotel Fortune in Tirupati

Its 2 hour journey from Katpadi to Tirupati and the train reached the destination at 12.30 am. At the railway station, a cab was waiting for me to pick me up from the railway station. I had booked one of the hotels in the city for my stay in the region. The hotel I had booked for my stay was Fortune Hotels Tirupati. It is a famous 4 star hotel of the city and provides world class services and amenities to the guests and tourists from all parts of the world.

It was an excellent trip to the place and I enjoyed every minute of the stay. The temple is definitely worth a visit for its beauty, splendour and magnificent architecture. It is very well managed and administered by the temple authorities. Overall, my trip had been a brilliant vacation and spiritual experience.
